Community Night of Prayer

Believers from churches throughout our community will gather together for a special evening of worship and prayer. Join us as we pray for our families, churches, schools, local leaders, and our nation. Let's fill the sanctuary and seek the Lord together as one body in Christ.

Nerf & Nachos Night

Get ready for an action-packed evening at Nerf & Nachos Night! Enjoy exciting Nerf battles, delicious nachos, and plenty of fun for all ages. Bring your friends and family and join us for a night filled with laughter, friendly competition, and fellowship. Nerf blasters and darts will be available, but feel free to bring your own.

Men, join us for a morning of great food, encouraging fellowship, and biblical teaching at our monthly Men's Breakfast. This month we are excited to welcome Pastor David Jite, Lead Pastor of Hope Church Moreno Valley, as our guest speaker. Whether you're a longtime member or visiting for the first time, this is a great opportunity to connect with other men and grow in your faith. A suggested donation of $6 helps cover the cost of breakfast.

Church Office Closed – July 6

The Hope in the Valley Baptist Church office will be closed on Monday, July 6, in observance of Independence Day. Regular office hours will resume the following business day. We pray you have a safe and blessed holiday weekend celebrating with family and friends.

Special Called Business Meeting – July 5 at 5:00 PM

All members of Hope in the Valley Baptist Church are encouraged to attend a Special Called Business Meeting on Sunday, July 5, at 5:00 PM. During this important meeting, church members will vote on whether Pastor Miles will become the next Lead Pastor of HVBC following Pastor Dale’s retirement in the coming years. This is a significant moment in the life of our church, and we encourage all members to prayerfully participate as we seek God’s direction for the future of our church family.

Family Movie Night – July 3 at 6:00 PM

Kick off your holiday weekend with a fun-filled Family Movie Night at HVBC! Join us on Friday, July 3, at 6:00 PM for an evening of food, games, fellowship, and a family-friendly movie featuring Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown. We’ll provide hotdogs and beans, and if you’d like, feel free to bring a favorite side or dessert to share. The Town Hall Q&A with Pastor Miles is a special opportunity for our church family to gather for open conversation, vision sharing, and connection. Join us on June 28 at 5:00 PM for an evening where you can hear updates about the church, learn more about upcoming direction, and engage in meaningful dialogue with Pastor Miles.

This event is designed to create space for transparency, unity, and church-wide participation. We encourage everyone to attend, listen, and be part of what God is doing in our church community.

Vacation Bible School 2026: ILLUMINATION STATION is a fun-filled week designed for children ages 3 years through 6th grade! Join us June 22–26 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for an exciting adventure where kids will discover how God’s truth brings light into our lives and helps us shine for Him.

Vacation Bible School Leader Meeting is the final preparation gathering for all VBS volunteers as we get ready for an incredible week of ministry! Join us on June 21 for this important meeting where we will go over any last-minute details, answer final questions, and ensure everyone has their VBS shirts and materials.

This is a great opportunity to come together as a team, get fully prepared, and make sure everything is in place for a smooth and successful VBS week. Your participation is essential as we finalize plans and pray over the upcoming event.

Father’s Day Sundae Sunday is a fun and meaningful way to celebrate dads while supporting a great cause! Join us between services on Father’s Day June 21 for a delicious ice cream sundae bar where families can build their own sweet creations and enjoy time together in community.

All proceeds from Sundae Sunday will go directly toward supporting our youth as they prepare for summer camp. Every scoop helps send students to a life-changing week of faith, friendship, and growth.

Drive-Up Prayer is a welcoming community event designed to offer encouragement, hope, and prayer for anyone in need. On May 30 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, simply drive through the church parking lot and receive prayer from our team without needing to leave your vehicle.

Whether you are seeking peace, guidance, healing, or simply someone to stand with you in prayer, we are here for you. Our prayer team will be ready to listen and pray with you in a safe, caring, and supportive environment.
